Cover Gurlz: Spring Break Edition

Cover: $10
This Friday, March 21st, we’re partnering with Lipz Lounge for a night of fabulous entertainment and song! The entertainment starts at 8:00 with a spectacular drag show hosted by Meagan Flosha. Afterward, you’ll have the opportunity to belt out your own favorites during karaoke.
The cover is $10, and RCRD will receive a portion of all beer sales. Come support our league while enjoying a night at one of Campus 805’s most memorable and inclusive venues!
Roller Derby is an amazing sport, but it can also be expensive to participate—every skater needs not only skates, but a helmet, elbow and knee pads, wrist guards, a mouth guard, and WFTDA insurance. Skates alone require extra wheels, toe stops, and regular maintenance to keep them in tip-top shape. The league as a whole has expenses, too—renting out venues, printing posters and programs, and securing lodging for away games, to name a few.
Whether you love roller derby or simply want to support a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization, participating in these fundraisers is a great way to give back to our community and get a big bang for your buck!

Home bouts are held at the NSS Center at 6001 Pulaski Pike NW. Tickets cost $15 ahead of time and $18 at the door, and children under 6 get in free. Season passes are also available for $50.
