With the successful completion of our 21st season, Rocket City Roller Derby is rolling into the holidays for a period of rest and recovery. Over the break, we’ll reflect on how far we’ve come this year and plan for the future.

Online Fundraisers
Roller Derby is an amazing sport, but it can be expensive to participate—every skater needs not only skates, but a helmet, elbow and knee pads, wrist guards, a mouth guard, and WFTDA insurance. Skates alone require extra wheels, toe stops, and regular maintenance to keep them in tip-top shape. The league as a whole has expenses, too—renting venues, printing posters and programs, and securing lodging for away games, to name a few.
Whether you love roller derby or simply want to support a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization, participating in these fundraisers is a great way to give back to our community and get a big bang for your buck!

If you enjoy gaming in a fun atmosphere with food and drinks, Dave & Buster’s is the place to go—and buying a rechargeable Power Card is the best way to do it! These cards let you skip the line and rack up loyalty points, which you can put toward D&B’s delicious food and “bevs.”

Bout Info
RCRD is already planning for next season, so stay tuned for our 2026 bout schedule. In the meantime, don’t forget that home bouts are held at the NSS Center at 6001 Pulaski Pike NW. Advance tickets are available for a discount online, but you can always purchase them at the door, and children under 6 get in free. Season passes will also available soon. We accept both cash and cards for tickets and merch. Get ready for thrilling roller derby action and community fun!
