Roller Derby is an amazing sport, but it can be expensive to participate\u2014every skater needs not only skates, but a helmet, elbow and knee pads, wrist guards, a mouth guard, and WFTDA insurance. Skates alone require extra wheels, toe stops, and regular maintenance to keep them in tip-top shape. The league as a whole has expenses, too\u2014renting venues, printing posters and programs, and securing lodging for away games, to name a few.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether you love roller derby or simply want to support a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization, participating in these fundraisers is a great way to give back to our community and get a big bang for your buck!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
