Each team fields a jammer, who scores points by lapping members of the opposing team, and blockers, who play both offense and defense. As the sport&#8217;s governing body, the WFTDA promotes and advances flat track roller derby while revolutionizing women&#8217;s roles in sports through the collective efforts of its global member leagues. Our strength lies in the diversity of our leagues, volunteers, staff, and community.
